Originally from Southern Maryland, Lauren has been acting ever since she saw Judy Garland as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz. With a B.A. in Theater Performance from SUNY New Paltz, Lauren has continued her training in New York City at the Barrow Group, finishing a year and a half long conservatory program, multiple scene study courses, and a stage combat course.
Film credits include the critically acclaimed PBS documentary 1971, with Academy Award-winning executive producer Laura Poitras (Citizen Four) and the Academy Award-winning team behind Man on a Wire. An avid lover of horror, Lauren also appeared in the indie sleeper-hit Hell House LLC, with the sequel, Hell House LLC II: The Abaddon Hotel due out later this year. She has also performed live in the New York horror experience/performance Blackout New York, which was featured on The Travel Channel and such publications as The Wall Street Journal, New York Post, and Untapped New York. One of her recent short films, PhotoKill, was just accepted into its 50th film festival. For PhotoKill, Lauren received a Best Actress award at the Zedfest Film festival in North Hollywood, CA, and from The Cutting Room Film Festival in New York City.
Lauren has appeared in commercials for Harvard Business School, Google Maps, Elite Daily, Cosmo for Guys, Go Power Bikes, and Alpha Dominche Coffee. She was also the host of the Facebook Live pop-culture show PAUSE for LittleThings, as well as the local film screening series IndieWorks.
When not acting, she is probably playing Dungeons and Dragons or kickboxing.
